Crabapple, Blanco (Texas crabapple, Prairie crabapple)

The Blanco crabapple is an attractive small deciduous tree, 12’-15’ tall, much loved by deer. It has pale pink fragrant flowers in April and May, followed by yellow-green bitter fruit in the fall. Prefers well-drained, limestone soil and some moisture.
