Eastern Red Cedar

Evergreen tree, usually 30’-40’ tall with fragrant scale-like foliage that turn reddish in winter, pale blue fruits, attractive to birds. Adapted to many soils and tolerant of extreme heat, cold, and drought, but does best in full sun. Cultivars vary in shape from wide to narrow and compact.
